Shillong, March 02: The North Eastern Regional Load Despatch Centre (NERLDC) of Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India) as part of its CSR activity for the financial year 2022-2023 had provided high-end Medical Equipment worth Rs 16.64 lakhs to Ganesh Das Hospital and Rynjah State Dispensary at Shillong and Lokhara State Dispensary at Guwahati.
The equipment which included an ICU bed, Infant warmer, cardiac monitor, physiotherapy unit, infusion pump, suction, patient trolley, x-ray machine and ECG machine were inaugurated by Executive Director, NERLDC, Grid-India at the Department of G&O in Ganesh Das Hospital and at Rynjah State Dispensary.
This was done on 24th and 28th of February 2023 respectively with an objective to strengthen the medical infrastructure at the Hospitals and primary healthcare of Meghalaya. The Handing over ceremony at Lokhara State Dispensary, Guwahati is soon to be held.
