The NEZCC, Ministry of Culture, GoI Dimapur invites application for YTA Award

Shillong, August 5:  The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Dimapur invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2018-19 from outstanding candidates, talented/skilled in the categories of Folk and  Tribal music or songs and Dance Theatre, Dance Drama, Mime, Painting, Wood/Cane & Bamboo Crafts, Traditional Handloom and Handicrafts, Pottery etc.

Young artistes or artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 31st March, 2020) are eligible to apply for the Award. The Award consists of Rs. 10,000/-, a citation and a Memento. A candidate should be an Indian citizen and indigenous to the eight North Eastern States. Candidates who have received any such Awards (State/National) earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme.

Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the office of the Director of Arts & Culture, Government of Meghalaya, Shillong. The last date for submission of application is on 31st August, 2019 and no application thereafter will be entertained.
