Shillong, Oct 11: The State Council of Science, Technology & Environment, Meghalaya, is organising 2-days training programme on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) at the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), North Eastern Region, NEHU Campus, Shillong on 14th and 15th October, 2019. The objective of the programme is to give an awareness and more in-depth knowledge on Intellectual Property Rights and laws.
Participants from the Science & Technology Council of all the North Eastern States including Uttarakhand and Odisha along with IP Professionals from Universities, line departments and other organisations from the State will be participating. Experts from DST and TIFAC will be the main resource persons.
The training is being catalysed and supported by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), New Delhi and Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA).
