Maligaon, July 17:It has been decided to revise the timings of some trains at few stations in the jurisdiction of NFR in order to improve the punctuality of trains.It has also been decided to revise the composition of special train running between Kamakhya and Delhi from next month.
Moreover, the passenger special train running between New Bongaigaon and Guwahati has been augmented by three general second class coaches on permanent basis for convenience of the passengers.
Services of special train running between Agartala and Habibganj have been extended to clear extra rush as per existing stoppages, timings and composition.
Revised timings of trains at stations,Train No. 05956 Delhi – Kamakhya special will run with revised timings at New Alipurduar, Gossaigaon Hat, Fakiragram and Kokrajhar stations w.e.f. 20.07.2021.
Train No. 05905 Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh special will run with revised timings at Jalpaiguri Road, Mathabhanga, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar and Kokrajhar stations w.e.f. 22.07.2021.
Train No. 02377 Sealdah – New Alipurduar special will run with revised timings at Jalpaiguri Road, Mathabhanga and New Coochbehar stations w.e.f. 20.07.2021.
Train No. 02378 New Alipurduar – Sealdah special will run with revised timings at Jalpaiguri Road, Raninagar Jalpaiguri, New Jalpaiguri and Kishanganj stations w.e.f. 20.07.2021.
Train No. 05625 Deoghar-Agartala special express will run with revised timings at New Jalpaiguri, Raninagar Jalpaiguri and New Coochberar stations w.e.f. 19.07.2021.
Revised composition, Train No. 05955/05956 Kamakhya-Delhi-Kamakhya Special will run with revised composition as one AC-2 Tier, five AC-3 Tier, ten sleeper class and three second class accommodations leaving Kamakhya from 01.08.2021 and Delhi from 03.08.2021.
Permanent augmentation, Train No. 05801/05802 New Bongaigaon – Guwahati- New Bongaigaon passenger special has been augmented by three general second class coaches on permanent basis. The train will have now 18 general second class coaches instead of 15 apart from two luggage vans w.e.f. 17-07-2021.
Extension of services, Services of Train No.01666/01665 Agartala – Habibganj – Agartala weekly special leaving Agartala on every Sunday have been extended to run up to 02-01-2022 and leaving Habibganj on every Thursday have been extended to run up to 30-12-2021.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in Railway’s website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.
It may kindly be noted that, on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state. All passengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in this regards.
