Shillong, September 10: The Meghalaya Sarva Shishah Abiyan School Teachers Association 4th Teachers (under state plan) today in their general meeting held at Khasi National Dorbar hall, decided that they will accept the government proposal to transfer from upper primary school to Lower primary school.
While accepting this government proposal the association urged the state government that they should be transfer only to thus school having the deficit pattern and it should be with the Closter Resources Centre (CRC) or nearby to CRC.
The Chairman of the 4th Teachers Association Mr Hababut Marbaniang, told media person after their general meeting , that there are 1521 school in the state having fourth Teacher , this problem crop up due to the mistake done by the state government while appointing these teacher at the initial stage.
Since this teacher, thought they are teaching under the SSA school but they are paid by the state government under state plan. To serve the interest of all this teacher in the state the government if they transfer this fourth teacher to the Lower Primary level should be on the deficit pattern, he said.
From the association they will sent their memorandum to the state government, to get the clarity on the propose transfer of all these fourth teacher from Upper primary school to the Lower Primary School, and they want that the state government should intimate to them with one month from the date they submit the memorandum.
