Shillong, June 07: As a part of G20 India Presidency, under the leadership of Ministry of Education, the Education Working Group has prioritized to strengthen the effectiveness of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy through blended learning.
Janbhagidari events have been initiated in the state Meghalaya. Many districts have initiated various activities and events.. Today the East Khasi Hills district organized a Story Telling, Math Mela, TLM Exhibition and a Road Show by the South Asia Red FM 93.5 at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shillong.
The State Project Director and Director, School Education and Literacy, Shillong, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and interacted with the students during the session.
Twelve schools from East Khasi Hills participated in the event. The best prizes were given to the best exhibits- the first prized was bagged by Shillong Public, followed by Dinet Manik Syiem School and the third prize was given away to Balika Hindi Vidalaya Secondary School.
