Shillong, Sept 19: The Chief Justice designate Prafulla Chandra Pant will take oath tomorrow as the new chief justice of the Meghalaya High Court at Raj Bhavan where the governor of Meghalaya Dr K K Paul Will administered the oath of secrecy.
Justice Prafulla 61 is a judge of the Uttarakhand High Court. He was born in Pithorahrah district of then undivided Uttar Pradesh, he joined theUP Judicial Service in 1976 and held different posts.
After the creation of Uttarakhand, he was the first Secretary, Judicial, of the state.(SP News)
