Government paid Rs 3 lakh to relative who die in Garo Hills Violence

 

Tura, June 25: The District Administration of South Garo Hills today handed over the body of thus laboures to their relative in Assam under tide security.

The District administration has also announced that an exgratia   payment of three lakh rupees will be paid thus relative of the decease.

The Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills said that in Tura town today the curfew has been relax from nine o’clock in the morning up to five in the evening. He said the over all situations have improved.

The District administration has taken precarious measure in the plain belt areas to see that peace is maintained.(SP News)
