Shillong, Oct 11: A TATA Sumo (MLO5H – 5504) ferrying passenger to Guwahati from Shillong overturned on a turning after it skidded near the view point at Ryndang Briew, Shillong today at 7:19 A.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Shillong helped in shifting Kolbanu Begum (45years/female) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A driver of an autorickshaw sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in a head on collision with a Mahindra pick-up truck at the market area in Byrnihat under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Byrnihat helped in shifting the driver Sabera Nongrum (42years/male) to Byrnihat PHC and then to Nongpoh Civil Hospital.
A motorist sustained injuries after he fell off from the motorbike (MLO5K – 8592) when it skidded at Golf Link, Shillong . The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Shillong helped in shifting Eddie Nongrum (21years/male) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
