ve around the Syntu Ksiar where the monument of the Jaintia warrior was erected.
The President of the JSU while talking to SP News Agency, urged upon the people who ever go to the area to see the scenic beauty of the area not to throw any rubbished in the area.
The people should be conscious enough this area is not only a tourist sport for many but also sources of drinking water for the Jowai Town and many villages around.
In this day many sport activities were also organized as part of the preparation for the celebration to mark the 150th death anniversary the great warriors who fought with the British to liberate Jaintia Hills from their urle.(SP News)
