Tura, August 13: The Village Defence party along with the resident of Sesenpara village under Dalu police station in South West Garo Hills District today at around 2 Am in the morning apprehended two person namely Himanta Koch and Sujol Koch.
According to police report said that the people of the village has beaten them to death. The villagers suspected them to be dacoits from Bangladesh the police have taken up the matter.
In another incident at around 4 pm, in the evning one person known as Bahrit Snaitang stabbed his brother-in-law Shri Robi Thangkhiew at Khlieh Iewduh, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and shifted to CH, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.(SP News)
