New Delhi, August 06: The Department of Youth Affairs, through MY Bharat, has called upon young citizens to participate in the National Flag of India Quiz 2026 as the nationwide initiative enters its final 9 days. Organised under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, the quiz has already attracted participation from youth, encouraging them to celebrate the spirit of the Tricolour through knowledge and youth engagement.
Since its launch, the quiz has witnessed participation from youth from across India, reflecting growing enthusiasm among young citizens to celebrate the Tricolour while enhancing their knowledge about its history, significance and constitutional values.
The quiz aims to educate participants about the evolution of the National Flag of India, the contributions of eminent personalities associated with its development, the Flag Code of India, the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, and other important aspects related to India’s national symbols. It also seeks to promote patriotism and encourage greater youth engagement through the MY Bharat platform.
The online quiz will remain open until 15 August 2026. It consists of 20 multiple-choice questions to be answered within 10 minutes and is available in multiple Indian languages through Bhashini. Every participant who successfully completes the quiz will receive an e-Certificate of Participation.
The quiz is open to all registered users of the MY Bharat Portal. However, registered users in the age group of 21-29 years will be eligible for selection as winners, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility conditions. Top-performing eligible participants will get an opportunity to visit India’s border areas, with winners being selected through a lottery-based process from among the highest scorers.
The Department of Youth Affairs has urged all eligible youth who have not yet participated to register on the MY Bharat Portal and take the quiz before the 15 August deadline, making it a true celebration of patriotism, knowledge and active citizenship.
