Shillong, November 17: A TATA Indigo (MLO5H – 8261) which was travelling towards Shillong from Jowai was involved in a head on collision on a turning with a truck (ASOIBC – 5060) coming from the opposite direction at Pommura under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills on the 17th of November,. The injured person are Mr A. H. Hazarika and K. Marak who were occupant of the TATA Indigo.
Two helper of a truck loaded with bamboo travelling towards Jowai sustained injuries when the truck overturned after it skidded at 5 Kilo near Rangmen under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on the 16th of November. The injured person Quest Lapang and Justin Maring.
In a hit and run cases a motorist sustained injuries when the motorbike was hit by a vehicle from behind at Demthring on the 15th of November,. Rafio Susngi.
A driver of a dumper truck loaded with limestone died on the spot when the vehicle went off to the side of the road and down the cliff near the NRL Petrol Pump at Shang Bangla under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on the 17th of November. The name of the deceased person is Bah Lung residing at Lad Sharai.
All the injured person that occurred in different pleases are taken to hospital by 108 ambulance station in different location.(SP News)
