Shillong, Nov 29: Royal CC defeated Miracle CC Garo Hills by 2 Wickets in the NEC Platinum Jubilee Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament organized by Shillong Cricket Association. Garo scored 136 for 9 of 20 overs. Sengbal scored 35 of 30 balls. Rajiv Ray and Denzil took 2 wickets apiece. In reply, Royal CC scored 140 for 8 of 20 overs. Rohit Chettri scored 33 of 28 balls while Matsram and Arfino took 2 wickets.
In the second match Nongthymmai SSC defeated Ri-Bhoi by 6 wickets. Ribhoi were all out scoring only 61 runs in 14.5 overs Syed Asif scored 12 runs of 13 balls while Wanlam Nongkhlaw took 3 wickets. In reply,Nongthymmai reached the score 63/4 in 10 overs. Raja Lama and Ranjit Rai Scored 17 runs each. Vinod Sharma took 3 wickets for Ri Bhoi. (SP News)
