Ampati, Sept 01: The Block-Level Chief Minister’s Youth Engagement Programme 2026 was held at the Purakhasia Multi Facility Centre under the theme “Young Meghalaya, Shaping Tomorrow.”
Organised by the District Sports Office, South West Garo Hills, the programme brought together local youth to showcase their talents through competitions in folk dance, science and technology, poetry, quiz, painting, music, talent show and other activities.
A Life Skills and Leadership Training session was also conducted to strengthen communication, teamwork, confidence and leadership skills. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognising outstanding participants and encouraging greater youth participation and community spirit.
