We have just to learn that this morning, there were attempts to cause physical injury or maim or even take the life of Mr. Hopingstone Lyngdoh, senior most politician of the State, founder President of HSPDP, former MP & contesting candidate from Nongstoin Constituency. Such attempt is strongly condemned to by hook or by crook, win the seat from the undefeated patriarch of the Khasi people and of the Hill State movement. Actually, we have relayed information to the concerned and asked for extra vigilance & security for Mr. Lyngdoh and of the whole Constituency and of other sensitive constituuencies as our organisation is campaigning against the use of money & muscle power. It is therefore urged upon the concerned authorities to accordingly act and quell such illegal, immoral & unethical activities during elections. Rev. Dr. P. B. M. Basaiawmoit G. D.
