Dispur , May 27: The Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, today addressed a press conference in Rajiv Bhawan, where he said that both congress candidates including Dr. Manmohan Sing and Santi Huj Kujjur, will easily win the Rajya Sabha Election from Assaml.
There has been a dissident regarding the second congress Candidate, AIUDF in another political party that has filed their Candidate for the second seat, leaving the Prime Minister to win the Rajya Sabha election un opposed for the third time from Assam.
On the side lines of the press conference, ASSAM CM, TARUN GOGOI, said that the maoist attack in Chhattisgarh, that killed 27 people including congress leaders is condemnable, and there after the CM, flashed back as how the ULFA and other militant groups in North Catcher Hills, and Karbi Anglong killed many congress leaders and workers, while speaking these words the CM got furious.
However the CM said that the militancy activities have been normalized in the state of Assam. The government will leave not stone unturned to work for the development of the state.(SP News)
