Shillong, June 13: With the rest of the world Meghalaya also today celebrated the “World Blood Diner’s Day, 2020 in Civil Hospital of Ri Bhoi District today and there are 20 members of the Confederation of Ri Bhoi People (CORP) voluntarily donated their blood.
The function was organised by the CORP in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the Civil Hospital Nongpoh of Ri Bhoi District along with the Meghalaya Aids Control Society Shillong. The entire requirement for collecting blood from the donor was done by the Civil Hospital Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi District.
As the token of appreciation to all the member of the organisation CORP who voluntarily come forwards to donate their blood to save human lives from the Civil Hospital Nongpoh of Ri Bhoi District handed a citation to all the donor who has donated their blood on the World Blood Donor’s Day .
