Tura MP Miss Agatha writes to Prime minister and Home minister on the Garo hills sanitation

 

Shillong, June 25: The Member of Parliament from Tura Miss Agatha Sangma  has written a letter to the prime minister and Home minister  government of India  seek central intervention to defuse the situation in Garo Hills.

She (Agatha) took her personal initiative to call all the deputy commissioner of GaroHills and the Deputy Commissioner of the two Districts in Assam, Goalpara and Dhubri District to take necessary measure to ensure that normalcy prevail in border of Meghalaya and Assam.

The MP from Tura has also asked the central government to provided adequate Para military forces in the interstate border to see that low and order is maintain.

The MP from Tura she will visits her  constituency  tomorrow along with her father P A Sangma whois the former speaker of the Lok Sabha  to see that  peace and tranquility  be restored in the Garo Hills Region.(SP News)
