Shillong, May 22: Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr Cornad K Sangma today accompanied by the Deputy Speaker Mr Timothy D. Shira who is also local MLA today made an inspection to the Resublepara Community Health Centre in North Garo Hills.
Meghalaya Chief Minister said that his visit to the CHC at Resubelpara is to see that the preparation and the infrastructure that has been done in the District, the cases that was not high but steel need to prepare and he has given the instruction to increase the number of beds and increased the oxygen supply system also.
The Government is planning to have oxygen plant to set up in North Garo Hills this will cater to the need of 15 beds, the chief minister held review meeting also the District medical Health officer and disused the vaccine drive.
The vaccination for the age group of 45 years 50% has been done for others age groups once the vaccination is available will be given to the public said Chief Minister.
