Tura, July 23: The police of West Garo Hills District arrested four person whom they suspected that they are over ground member of the GNLA who were active in Baichung and Jack area.
The arrested person known as Tengsan A Sangma, Rikkim Marak, Amseng B Sangma , and Sengman B Sangma. The police has arrested them all from Tura town.
Base on their information the police raided the GNLA camp at Duduret, under Selslla during the operation there was a brief encounter between the GNLA cadets and the police.
In the encounter no casualty was their from either side by from the camp the police recover one pistol, one grenade, one wireless set and twenty round ammunition and four demand note.
The police strongly suspected that these four people are involved in delivering demand note of the band out fit GNLA to various business establishments in Tura Town.(SP News)
