Services of few trains cancelled, Due to kisan agitation and maintenance work

Maligaon, Dec 28: Due to track renewal and maintenance work in Malda division of Eastern Railway and kisan agitation in Firozpur division of Northern Railway it has been decided to cancel/short originate the services of few trains. The cancellation of few trains will be effective upto 21.01.2022.

Cancellation of trains, Train no. 12363 Kolkata- Haldibari Express will be cancelled on 28^th and 30^th December, 2021, 1^st, 4^th, 6^th, 8^th, 11^th, 13^th, 15^th, 18^th and 20^th January, 2022. As a result of this, train no. 12364 Haldibari – Kolkata Express scheduled to leave from Haldibari will remain cancelled on 29^th and  31^st  December, 2021, 2^nd, 5^th, 7^th, 9^th, 12^th, 14^th, 16^th, 19^th and 21^st January, 2022.

Cancellation, Short origination of trains, Train no. 04654 Amritsar – New Jalpaiguri Special will be cancelled on 29.12.2021 due to kisan agitation and as a consequence train no. 04653 New Jalpaiguri – Amritsar Special has been cancelled on 31.12.2021.

The services of Train No. 15656 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Kamakhya Express and Train no. 15652 Jammu Tawi – Guwahati Express scheduled to start journey on 29.12.2021 will be short originated at Ambala Cantonment Junction due to kisan agitation in Northern Railway.
