Shillong Nov 21: The FKJGP Upper Shillong Circle extended its support to the demands of the Hima Mylliem Youth Welfare Organisation (HMYWO) seeking reply from the Department of Tourism on the letter send by the Office of the Syiem Hima Mylliem who sought clarification for setting up a sign post written “This Property belong to the Office Directorate of Tourism Department, Govt. of Meghalaya” in a plot of land at Shillong Peak (Lum Shyllong).
General Secretary FKJGP Upper-Shillong Circle Donald Nongsteng while stating this in a press statement here on Wednesday said that the Office of the Syiem of Hima Mylliem had send a letter to the Department seeking clarification as to how the department can set up a sign post at the plot of land at Dak Bangla when for decades now the land was looked after by the Hima Mylliem.
In support of the demands of the HMYWO, the FKJGP urged upon the Department to expedite steps and reply to the letter send by the office of the Syiem of Hima Mylliem.(SP News)
