Shillong, August 14: The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has informed that the District Administration has arranged free conveyance for the public who wish to attend the Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15’~A ugust, 2013 at 2th Ground, Polo Ground, Khyndailad (Police Bazar) and State Central Library, Shillong.
Buses will ply from Happy Valley via Madanrting, Nongthyrnrnai, St.Edmunds’,Dhankheti, Barik, IGP to Polo, from Rynjah via Pohkseh, Nongrim Hills, Laitumkhrah, IGP to Polo Ground, from Mawiong via Mawlai Petrol Pump, Mawdatbaki, Mawlai Mawroh, Golflinks to Polo, from Mawprem Karbom via District Council Point, Motphran, Khyndailad to Polo Ground, fiom Laban via Last Stop, Bishnupur, Kench’s Trace, IGP to Polo Ground, from Nongmynsong via Demseiniong to Polo Ground, from Jaiaw Mawbynna via Riatsamthiah,Wahingdoh, Umsohsun, Khyndailad to Polo Ground.
Buses will also picked up the public from Malki via Malki Point, Barik, IGP to Polo,from Lawsohtun via Bishnupur, Last Stop, Rhino Point, IGP to Polo, from Lurnparing via Madan Laban, Last Stop, Rhino Point, IGP to Polo, from 7th Mile, Upper Shillong via 5th Mile, 4thmile 3th Mile, Lurnrnawbah, Rilbong Point, Rhino Point, IGP to Polo, fiom Mawpat via Langkyrding Mihngi, Lurnshyiap, Golflinks to Polo and fiom Pynthorbah via Lad Shyiap, Golflinks to Polo. The buses will ply through the routes mentioned above on the said date from 6:30 AM onwards.(SP News)
