Jowai, Sept 13:The Office of the Municipal Board in collaboration with the Society for Urban and Rural Empowerment (SURE) today felicitated the JMB Conservancy staffs, those involving directly in daily collection and disposal of waste from Jowai Town in the presence of P.S Dkhar, Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills District, S.S Syiemlieh, ADC and CEO, Jowai Municipal Board, F.B Basan, EAC and EO Jowai Municipal Board, H.H Mohrmen, President of Society for Urban and Rural Empowerment (SURE),R. Mylliem, President of Jowai Trading Association, M.K Siangshai, Headman of Khim-u-sniang and staffs of Municipal Board.
The Felicitation programmed was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner. Being concern about the good health of conservancy staff and as mark of gesture to the service provided by them, the SURE today provided them with protective gear.
Appreciating the dedication of the 28 conservancy staffs of the Jowai Municipal Board, those involving directly in daily collection and disposal of waste from Jowai town, the Deputy Commissioner at the same appeal the staffs to be more sincere with their responsibility and hopes this function will boost up the spirit of the staffs and work with sincerity.
