Shillong, Sept 22: The BJP Mahila Morcha Meghalaya, thanks Modiji and all the members of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, for voting in favour of the Women’s Reservation Bill.
All these 27,797 days, more than 76 years after Independence , finally the BJP did it. All these years this Bill was proposed by many of Our Prime Ministers, some did it perhaps as an election gimmick, but none could or more appropriately would do it. They all gave lip service, to this Bill, and are now trying to take to credit for this Bill in a game of one-upmanship.
Only the BJP under the leadership of Modiji had the courage and determination to get the Bill passed in both the houses, with unanimous support from all quarters. The BJP puts its money where its mouth is.
The BJP Mahila Morcha Meghalaya, stands by the statement of our BJP President Shri Mawrie, “BJP looks after the Tribals” and refute the statement of the TMC Spokesperson Shri Ripun Bora, who was one of the accused, in the murder of a tribal Daniel Topno. Mr. Bora please note, SmtiDroupadiMurmu a tribal, has been elected as the President of the Country, proposed and supported by the BJP.
