Shillong, Jan 20: The Government of Meghalaya has notified that all the Deficit Schools Teachers and Staff appointed on sanctioned posts who joined service prior to 1st April, 2010 will continue with the CPF and those who joined on or after 1st April, 2010 onwards will be included in the NPS.
The Notification also states that all the Deficit Schools are required to provide CPF or NPS facilities to the employees, failing for providing either the CPF or NPS facility to the employees will be held responsible.
This will come into force with immediate effect.This was informed by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Education Department.
