Meghalaya Chief Minister inaugurates New Nongstoin Durbar Hall at Nongstoin 

Shillong, April 15: Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, today, inaugurated the New Nongstoin Durbar Hall at New Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills. Also present during the inauguration was MLA, Nongstoin, G Wahlang, MLA, Rambrai, R G Momin, MDC and Headman, New Nongstoin, S Rashir and Secretary, New Nongstoin, G Marbaniang.
Delivering his inaugural address, Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, said that the Dorbar Hall is the result of the community, the local leaders and the community coming together to serve the people of the state.

“This beautiful hall is an example of how the community and the elected representatives can come together to create something which is really meaningful and beautiful,” he said.

He further said that real development will take place when government works closely with traditional institutions and local bodies and assured the Dorbar Shnong of New Nongstoin of the government’s support in its endeavours in the larger interest of the society.
