Shillong, Nov 15: The third day of the India International Cherry Blossom Festival 2019 held in Shillong drew huge crowd in the various venues spread across the city.
On Friday, in the cosplay completion, the winner was Marc, the people’s choice award was won by Garry Syiemlieh, Best Performance award was won by Yuki Lamabam, the Best Craftsman award went to Daryll Warjri, Judge’s Choice and Best Make-Up award was won by Seema Devi .
The LG Queen of the Kitchen was won Mafi Kharhunai, the second position was won by Ritiksha Sunar, the third place went to Jyoti Kumari Singh and the fourth position was won by Nandita Hajong. In the photography competition a total number of submissions was 352.
On Saturday the last day of the festival, the Ambassador of South Korea to India, Shin Bong-Kil will grace the closing function as the chief guest in the presence of Forest and Environment Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui which will be held at the Dalang Stage, Fifth Ground Polo.
In the professional category, the first prize was won by Sameer Gurung, the second position was won by, Vishu Singhania and the third prize was won by Arridapha Shullai.
In the amateur category, the first prize was won by Panborlang Toi, second prize was won by Asha Lakra and the third prize was won by Meai Kyrpang Wankhar. The youngest photographer who won the contest was Kanisha Nath.
The Mrs. Shillong 2019, winner was Marjorie Noreen Dubai, the first runners up was Apoorva D Gunanka and the second runners up Dorilinia Malngiang.
In the completion for Miss Cherry Blossom 2019 , Miss Sabnam Sherpa was crown as Miss Cherry Blossom 2019, first runner up Miss Naphishisha Palat and the seound runners up was Miss Jayati Gurung.
