Shillong, Sept 10: This is for the information of the general public that the Office of the Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads), Shillong ‘B’ Sub-Division, will resume construction Of the Aqueduct Channel at Jeep Stand (Paltan Bazaar) with effect from 10th September. 2026, until completion of the project.
In view of the above. the following traffic regulation will be enforced for vehicles proceeding from Paltan Bazaar towards Jeep Stand, ‘No-Entry’ at Paltan Bazaar near Suman Transport for vehicles proceeding from Chowkhani Building junction towards Jeep Stand via Paltan Bazaar.
The general public is requested to with the traffic police and follow alternateroutes during this period. Inconvenience caused in this regard is sincerely regretted,said Dr. Hari Prasanth M. R., IPS, Superintendent of Police (Traffic), East Khasi Hills, Shillong.
