Service extension of special train between New Tinsukia and Dhubri was extended

Maligaon,  August 19: It has been decided to extend the service ofspecial train between New Tinsukia and Dhubri for another three months in both directions.

This extension will serve the purpose of passengers who travel frequently from upper Assam to lower Assam via north bank of Brahmaputra for work and medical emergency.

Accordingly, train no. 05922 (New Tinsukia – Dhubri) Special will depart from New Tinsukia at 14:30hours on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 20thAugust till19thNovember, 2023 to reach Dhubri at 04:30hoursonnext day.

In return direction, train no. 05921 (Dhubri– New Tinsukia)Special will depart from Dhubri at 05:00hours on every Wednesday, Friday and Monday from 21st August till 20th November, 2023 to reach New Tinsukia at 22:00hours on the same day.

During it’s both ways journey, the special train will run viaDhemaji, Vishwanath Chariali, Udalguri, Rangiya Jn., Nalbari, Tihu, Pathsala, New Bongaigaon, Sapatgramand Gauripurstations. Consisting of15 coaches, the train will haveAC 3-tier,sleeper class andgeneral second-class coaches for the passengers.

The details of stoppages and timings of this train are available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
