Shillong, The All Jaiñtia Muster Roll Workers Labour Union, Jowai appeal to the the Chief Minister of Meghalaya , that during this current situation, the government should consider providing free rice, dal, salt and sugar to all the registered workers with the MB&OCWB and including those Ration card holders in the state of Meghalaya.
This will come as a blessing and a relief to the daily minimum wages workers and the labourers during this time of crisis when the need of the hour is food not money.
It is a very good initiative when the government announced package to the Building and construction workers and this deserved to be lauded. At the same time Building and Other Construction Workers form just a bit of the labour workforce in the state there are others too who need the government attention.
The Union also urged the Chief Minister to give free ration to all ration cards holder will be a great relief to many. Said Mr K L Pariat President of the All Jaiñtia Muster Roll Workers Labour Union Jowai.
