Shillong, July 13: The Meghalaya Taekwondo Association hold it general meeting for preparation to the 39th National Games that will be held in Meghalaya on 2027, the meeting was held at Ringregittim, Tura.
Meeting was attended by Executive Members from West Garo Hills, East Garo Hills, North Garo Hills, West Jaintia Hills and East Khasi Hills. All selection criteria pertaining to age and weight categories have been discussed and the numbers of athletes to be selected as per the weight categories at the district and state level also have been discussed.
Training cum Selection Trial have started in some of the district and shall be completed within 3 months that is July to September 2025 in respect of Taekwondo discipline throughout the state.
