Shillong, July 02: Dr Krishan Kant Paul joined IPS designate of Meghalaya will take oath on Monday . He (Dr KK Paul) will the 13th governor of the state. The oath of secrecy will be done by the Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court.
Sources from the governor secretariat said that Dr Krishan Kant Paul will take oath on Monday and he will be the 13th governor of Meghalaya. The shortest serving governor is Treveni Sahai Mishara he was the governor from 29 March 1984 to 15 April 1984 and the longest serving governor is M M Jacob who served the state from 19 June 1995 to April 2007.(SP News)
