lls District Shri Sanjay Goyal while addressing the public gathering at Pynursla village at Rangthylliang Sengkhasi skul said that intelligent people at present are not coming forwards to speak the truth this is the problem at present.
The Deputy Commissioner expresses his happiness to see that the people of the area understand the need of the national integration. India is a country of unity in diversity, where different caste tribe with different religion lives together.
Our fore fathers are very intelligent that they have for seen the need of the integration of the nation, when India got freedom they have declare India as a secular state. As the citizen of India we should take pride that we are Indian. If any one travels abroad his identity will be known as India.
In his speech the Deputy Commissioner expresses his lamentation since intelligent people are not coming for wards to speak the truth and people who speak are not telling the truth which misled the public. He urges people to come forth and speak the truth on any issue so that public understand and lead them to the right direction.
The Officer in charge of the Pynursla police station Shri PL Syiem in his address at the function said that the etiquette of the young generation has degraded as there is no more respect for the elders but from the function that was held the organized try to infused the spirit of brother hood among people and the moral value to the youth.
The function was organized by the Seva Bharaiti Meghalaya Unit, on this day the SBM felicitate the student who has pass out the last matriculate examination in the first division and at the same time the Rakshabhandhan was observed for the first time among the khasi community. Though Rakshabhandhan India has been observed more than 4000 years.(SP News)
