Shillong, Oct 11: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee today sat and scrutinized the application of all the aspirant candidate who want to contest the forth coming MP election from 1-shillong parliamentary and 2-Tura parliamentary seat.
Speaking to SP News Agency the president of the MPCC Mr DD Lapang said that the meeting of the MPCC which they have sat today is just to see the application of candidate but they have not take any decision.
Sources closed to the Congress said that from 1-Shillong Parliamentary Seat there are four candidate who have applied for the ticket , the seating MP Mr Vincent H Pala, OL Nongtdu , Charles Pyngrope and John F Kharshiing.
From Tura there are nine applicant and among them sport and youth affair minister Zenth M Sangma the brothers of the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma. Others include Winnerson D Sangma , Polycard.(SP News)
