Shillong, May 31: Shillong Lad Cadet Deep Shankar Nath of Senior Division, NCC Shillong and a student of St. Anthony Collage, Shillong earned the rare privilege when he was selected from North East Region to represent Nation as India’s Ambassador to Kazakhastan.
The selection was carried out earlier in the year by NCC during Republic Day Parade 2018 at New Delhi under Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) , where he towered over his peers and was handpicked , thus making State NCC and Shillong proud.
Cadet Deep Shankar spent two weeks there and interacted with others students in youth exchange programme and returned this week.
