Shillong, April 05: The Home department government of Meghalaya finally crated the Sohiong Plice Out post which is a long pending demand of the people of the area. With the creation of the Sohiong police out post all thus areas fall under Mawngap police out post will be with the new police out post.
The Sohiong police out post will cater to the need of Nongspung circle which comprised of 19 villages, Lyngkhoi Circle which comprised of 13 villages, Pyndenlitha Circle comprised of 13 villages, Mawkneng Circle comprised of 9 villages and Laitmawsiang Circle which comprised of 9 villages.
The total population of all these villages that will be looking by the Sohiong Police Out post will be 16720 people .(SP News)
