Shillong, May 21: The State BJP General Secretary Shri Dipayan Chakraborty along with Shri Andy Lyngwa State Youth BJP President, Shri Phrangwel Khongdup State Youth BJP Vice President and Shri Subhasish Choudhury State BJP Media Cell Convener met some of the student of CMJ University and to know about their difficulties after the CMJ University came to controversy.
The students are concerned about sudden halt on the classes and also in a dark about their future.The BJP sincerely feels that since it is the State Government approved the university, therefore the Government instead of buying time, should immediately act fast to see the future of the student’s does not go in disarray.
The State BJP also questioned the rule of the regulatory committee (Monitoring the Pvt. University). Where was this regulatory board when this University was taking admissions of the student who is now loosing their valuable time of the CMJ University controversy evolved?
The BJP demands that the State Government should immediately see that the present students studying in the CMJ University don’t loose their money and career. State Government to review on the Private . University Act, and the CMJ University fiasco should be handed over to the CBI at the earliest.(SP News)
