Shillong, Sept 04: The Union Minister of Textiles, Dr. K.S. Rao will be visiting Shillong on September 7, 2013 on an official programme. On arriving at Shillong, Dr. Rao will be visiting the Handloom Production Centre and will hold a meeting with the State Minister In-Charge of Handloom, State govt. officials, representatives of handloom cooperatives and handloom weavers between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. Between 12 noon and 1.00 p.m., Dr. Rao will be laying the foundation stone of NIFT, Shillong Permanent Campus, before leaving for Guwahati at 1.30 p.m.(SP News)
