Shillong, Oct 21: Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee was received today at Advance Landing Ground by Air Marshal JS Walia VM VSM, SASO, Eastern Air Command. A 150 member Contingent of Air Warriors from the Eastern Air Command presented Ceremonial Guard of Honour to the President. Dr KK Paul, Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya was present on the occasion.
The president of India make his maiden visit to Meghalaya to attended the convocation tomorrow at the North Eastern Hills University where two thousand student will recived their degree from the president of India. (SP News)
