Shillong, Nov 10: The general Secretary of the Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) LK Sawkmie said that the 14 NGOs decided to continued their with their agitation to put pressure on the state government to implement the Inner Line Permit in the state of Meghalaya with the Night Road blocked on the 12th and 15th of this month.
The road blocked will start from 8 pm to 5 am in the morning. Mr Sawkmie said that the 13th and 14 was left out due to the Nongkrem Dance. The NGOs will continued with their agitation till the government grant their demand.
The NGO also castigate the government for the arrest of the CSWO president, the government is using their power to crushed the NGOs leaders who were speaking on behalf of the voice less said Mr Sawkmie.
The RBYF leaders seek the support of the people in their fight for the right to seek protection from the government to protect the tribal people from being swam away from the bigger community. The NGO fight for the survival of the indigenous people said Sawkmie.(SP News)
