Shillong, Dec 20: The Court of Session Judge, Shillong Court has convicted Mr Tenderlywell Hynniewta to life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs. 20,000/- and in default of fine to undergo an additional 1(one) year imprisonment for murdering, Corphilia Nongkynrih, 20 years on 6th September, 2002. The case was investigated by present Dy.S.P.(City), East Khasi Hills, Shillong, Smti. Cherry Shadap,MPS.
The Court of Session Judge, Shillong Court has convicted Mr Tek Bahadur Pun to 7(seven) years rigorous imprisonment for the culpable homicide of his friend Shri Bhim Thapa. The incident occurred on 27.03.2012 at 9.30 Pm when the accused had a quarrel with the victim and in the process stabbed him. The case was investigated by Sub Inspector Mihir Sinha.(SP News)
