Shillong, jan 16: The Air Officer Commanding In Chief of Eastern Air Command, Air Marshal RK Jolly VM VSM ADC visited Air Force Station Kumbhirgram from 16 Jan to 17 Jan 2014. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Meenakshi Jolly, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional).
The Air Marshal was presented with a Guard of Honour on his arrival. He interacted with the key personnel of the Station and reviewed the operational readiness of the Base during his two days visit.
Mrs. Meenakshi Jolly visited various ventures run by Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) for the welfare of the personnel posted at the Station and their families. She also reviewed various initiatives taken by the Station AFWWA Management Committee towards empowerment of Sanginis. (SP News)
