Shillong, June 12: The Chief Engineer, PHE, has informed all concerned that there will be a shutdown of the Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme for a period of 8 hours on 15th June 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, due to the replacement of pumping machinery at the Stage-I and Stage-II Pumping Stations of the Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme.
During this period, there will be no water supply to Shillong City and its adjoining areas. Every effort shall be made to restore and resume the water supply to the public at the earliest possible time.The inconvenience caused is highly regretted.
