Shillong, March 30: Damage to live and property was averted due to the prompt action taken by the Fire service station at Mawlai. The wild fire was broke up today noon at Mawlai Nongkwar opposite the old GS Road.
When the fire broke up people residing in the area tried their best to control it but they could not do so they inform the fire service and with their prompt action that they could reach on time damage to houses and property in the are was averted.(SP News)
