Shillong, April 24: In response to inputs received from the media, regarding sports persons finding it difficult to utilize polo ground, subsequent to the army event held at polo on 20 Apr 2013.
‘The Army sources have confirmed that cleanliness drive was undertaken after the event, and the ground was devoid of any garbage created during the event. However additional effort will be put up by the Army on 25 Apr 2013 for ensuring ground clearance, for the benefit of sports person’.(SP News)
