Shillong, May 11: The Government’s decision on extension for scrutiny panel on “teacher’s recruitment scam” has also drawn our attention. We feel that the Government should take seriously the report of the CBI on the tampering issue on the subject and should set a death line to nail the culprit.
The BJP retreated that all the public representative including the former Education Minister should resign and allow the scrutiny committee to complete the investigation at the earliest said the general secretary of the BJP Mr Dipayan Chakraborty.
On the Umroi Airport the BJP feels that it’s a mockery for the Union Minister to say that the certain amount is required to develop to expand the Shillong airport. If at all the Union Government would have been serious to develop the airport the Union Minister would have ensure that more smaller flight from metro cities lands in Shillong airport. This would encourage tourism and also benefitted the traveler from Shillong especially the students who are studying in different cities in the country. (SP News)
