Shillong, May 22: The Meghalaya police today around 10 am, in the morning managed to arrest seven arms smugglers from Chibragre under Rongram OP (WGH)
From the position the police seized, two pistols, five magazines, seven rounds of live ammunition, eight cell-phones and Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand) only. Further details are awaited.
In another incident today the Meghalaya Police in the morning found the decomposed dead body of Shri Silnam N. Marak (22 yrs) was recovered from a jungle at Mansinggre under Bajengdoba police Station Meghalaya Police arrested seven arms smugglers from Chibragre.(SP News)
