Shillong Sept 21: The NGOs who spear headed the demand for the demand for the implementation of the Inner Line Permit in the state of Meghalaya today has announced their agitational program by calling five days night road blocked from 23rd to 27th and the office picketing will be on the 26th and 27th only.
The Information Secretary of the Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo Peoples(FKJGP) Eldie Lyngdoh said that the adamant attitude of the government has force them to call for the agitation and they will continued till the government implement the ILP in the state of Meghalaya.
The NGOs thank the people of the state for supporting their agitation and at the same time they appeal to public to support them in their agitation for the implementation of the ILP in the state of Meghalaya.
The NGOs said that the government has threaten to implement the draconian law to clamp down the agitations, but from the organization said that they will continued their fight till the government compel to implement the ILP in the state to stop influx of outsider into the state, said the Information Secretary of the FKJGP.(SP News)
